Welcome to the community. Hellopeter is a place where you can read and write reviews of South African businesses. You’ll be able to learn from others’ experiences, become more informed when making purchasing decisions, share your own review to inform others, and resolve service related experiences.
Anyone who has registered with Hellopeter can write a review about any South African business they’ve interacted with, regardless of whether that business is listed on our platform or not.
Here is your step-by-step guide to getting started.

Benefit: No forms, no passwords, and no OTPs. That’s it! Because your WhatsApp number is verified and unique to you, we automatically create your secure profile in the background.
Select “Register with Facebook.”
You will be redirected to Facebook. You may be required to sign in to your account, then allow Hellopeter access.
Congratulations! You’ll be signed into Hellopeter and can write your first review.
Option C: Registration Form To register using our standard form, you’ll be required to provide the following info:
First name & Last name
Email address
Mobile number
Password
Enter your details and select “Register.”
Verify your account: We will send a One Time Pin (OTP) to your mobile number.
Enter the OTP to verify your account and log in.
Troubleshooting the OTP:
Tip: If the OTP does not come through, try removing the "0" in front of your number and try again.

Once you are signed in, you have two ways to make your voice heard.
Method 1: On the Website
Search: Type the company's name.
Details: Select the industry, give your star rating, and write your review. Be factual, clear, and honest.
Method 2: On WhatsApp Prefer to chat? You can write your review directly through WhatsApp.

Important Note: All reviews must be submitted via the Website or WhatsApp. We do not accept reviews posted on social media comments or sent via email.
1. Who can write a review on Hellopeter? Anyone with a registered Hellopeter profile can write a review about a business they’ve had a genuine experience with.
2. Can I review any business? Yes. You can review any business you’ve interacted with, even if they don’t have a profile on Hellopeter yet.
3. Will my full name be shown publicly? No. To protect your privacy, only your First Name and First Initial of your Surname are visible to the public.
4. Are reviews moderated or checked? Yes. We monitor reviews to ensure they follow our content guidelines. If a review appears fake, defamatory, or misleading, it will be flagged for investigation. We rely on the Hellopeter Community to bring suspicious reviews to our attention.
5. Can businesses remove or edit my review? No. Businesses cannot delete or edit your words. They can only respond to your feedback (publicly or privately) or report the review if they believe it violates our guidelines.
6. Can I edit or update my own review? No. if your experience changes, for example, if a business resolves your issue you can post a new review about the updated experience.
7. What happens if my review is flagged? Hellopeter may request more information, moderate the review, or remove it if it breaches platform content guidelines.
8. Does Hellopeter resolve disputes for me? No. Hellopeter does not mediate disputes. The platform exists to enable transparent communication between consumers and businesses.
9. Why should I leave a review? Your review helps other consumers make informed decisions and encourages businesses to be accountable and transparent.
10. Do I need an account to write a review? Yes. You can browse reviews without registering, but you must create and log into a Hellopeter profile to submit a review.
